Gloria is a highly experienced corporate lawyer with diverse background in project management, entrepreneurship, and arts advocacy.  Passionate about process improvement and innovation, Gloria joined the ClearyX team of forward-looking legal disruptors as a subject matter expert to help lead the development of reimagined legal services aiming to deliver better value to clients by utilizing cutting-edge technologies, artificial intelligence, and automation tools.

Specializing in M&A and banking, Gloria advised companies, business owners, and stakeholders on a wide range of transactions across diverse industries, specializing in mid-market deals ranging from $1 million to $100 million, and counselled large financial institutions, private lenders, and borrowers on complex secured lending transactions.  Gloria also acted as a trusted general counsel to her clients, helping them identify day-to-day business risks, develop effective legal strategies, and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.

Practicing within both international law firm and startup settings, in addition to her extensive experience advising high caliber clients on complex legal matters, she has a proven track record of successfully managing firm operations and leading teams within fast-paced, dynamic environments.  She has successfully built and managed a diverse client portfolio and spearheaded banking and start-up marketing initiatives, maximizing the firm’s visibility and growth potential.  As an overseer, mentor, and trainer of lawyers and legal professionals, Gloria’s people-first approach has consistently fostered a culture of excellence within her team.

Beyond the law, Gloria has a keen interest in entrepreneurism and the creative arts.  Recognizing the need to support artists and entrepreneurs, Gloria co-founded an e-commerce platform and innovative market concept that provided a place for these individuals to showcase and sell their creations. She served as a board member for DanceHouse1, contributing her expertise and passion to the organization’s mission of connecting the local arts community to the international world of dance, and acted as a advisor for Vancouver Fashion Week, providing valuable guidance and support to the fashion community.
