William (Jody) Campbell

Jody, now a Senior Analyst, joined ClearyX as a Due Diligence Analyst in January of 2022. Jody is an actively licensed attorney based in Washington, DC with international legal and corporate experience. He holds degrees from Georgetown University Law Center (J.D.), University of California, Berkeley (B.A., East Asian Studies), as well as a language certificate from Harvard University (Mandarin). At Georgetown, Jody was Diversity Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and completed multiple courses focusing on the intersection of technology and the law.

Before joining ClearyX, Jody worked at multiple top law firms. At those firms, Jody gained legal experience in a wide range of practice areas, from Corporate M&A and Real Estate Finance to E-Discovery and Antitrust. Jody also speaks multiple languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, and Mandarin. He has full professional capabilities in Spanish, which he applied during the summer after his first year of law school at a prestigious law firm in Barcelona.

At ClearyX, Jody is enthusiastic about and energized by using technology to make legal services more efficient and accessible. In addition to striving to deliver on these objectives for ClearyX’s clients, he has also collaborated with his colleagues on multiple pro bono matters and innovation projects to further those goals.

Outside of work, Jody enjoys raising money for charity through his participation in a local Stonewall Bocce League and practicing photography with his collection of vintage film cameras.
